The Association of Bursars of Nigerian Universities (ABNU) officially unveiled the Second Edition of The University Exchequer, its official magazine, during a ceremony held on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, at the TETFund Auditorium.
The unveiling was led by Professor Uno Essang Uno, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, who represented the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The event was graced by distinguished personalities and representatives of various institutions and organisations, including:
- Prof. M. A. Mainoma, FCNA, FCTI, mni — Department of Accounting, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
- Anthonia Bawa — Representative of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
- Dr. Hadiza Goje — Chairperson, Association of Bursars of Nigerian Universities (ABNU).
- Dr. Gloria Olotu — Representative of the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
- Prof. Muhammad Audu — Pro-Chancellor, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo.
- Representatives of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU).
The event reaffirmed ABNU’s dedication to strengthening collaboration among university financial managers and promoting sound financial governance within Nigeria’s university system.
