The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru in collaboration with ABNU Training Academy (ATAL) is organizing a training on ‘Resource Mobilisation and International Funding for Sustainable Development in Nigerian Educational Tertiary Institutions’. The training is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Asokoro, Abuja from June 19 to 23, 2023.

The training is meant for University Administrators, Registrars, Bursars, Heads of Consult Units and their Deputies and their counterparts in the Polytechnics and Colleges of Education. It will explore concrete and sustainable measures to enhance the revenue profile of the institutions with the view to reducing excessive dependence on the owners and promoters and put an end to the vicious cycle of strikes and disruption of academic activities.
The second leg of the training, which comes up in October 2023 will involve study visits to a number of universities in the UK.
